Sabarigiri Junior School commences functioning from 2nd June 2004. Situated in Vazhuthacadu Junction, at the center of Trivandrum city, the school provides education only to the kiddies to start with. ie, play school, LKG, UKG and class I (CBSE). The school provides modern child centered education mostly play and activity oriented training to the child to develop a Positive Mental Attitude throughout life. The psyche of the child is handled with utmost care and concern by the specially trained faculty.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
The medium of instruction in all classes is English, Malayalam being the mother-tongue and Hindi being the National Language, are both given due importance.

SCHOOL WORKING TIME
The classes are from 9.00 am to 3.00 p.m. Separate time is allotted by the Principal for co-curricular, extra curricular and socially useful productive work.

OFFICE WORKING TIME
School office functions from 9.00 am to 5.00 p.m. on all days except Sundays, Second Saturdays and Public Holidays. Cash transaction is only up to 2 pm.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
• Students are admitted subject to the availability of seats, irrespective of any •    distinction of caste, creed or religion.
• Application form and Prospectus can be had from the school Office.
• Application form duly filled in and signed must be submitted to the school office    on or before the stipulated date.
• Candidate must be accompanied by both his/her parents for interview and    should produce the following documents. 
       a) Copy of the Date of birth Certificate
       b) SC/ST/OBC students should submit their community certificate.

The whole year including vacation time is divided into four terms as below:

BUS SERVICES TO DAY SCHOLARS
The school will provide transportation to the day scholars. The bus fee is payable in advance for one month. The details regarding route and fee can be had from the office.
